              Continuous Improvement

The source of innovation at Unipart Logistics is our employees, who are given the skills and expertise to solve problems at their own level and create innovative supply chain solutions that deliver continuous improvement for our clients.

As an organisation, we believe that we must constantly measure the effectiveness of solutions and challenge ourselves to achieve ever increasing performance targets on behalf of our clients.

'No problem is a problem' - this means that if we have not found an opportunity for improvement, we are not looking hard enough! So continuous improvement is at the heart of our philosophy which we call The Unipart Way.

To better explain this philosophy, Unipart has defined a set of 18 key principles which serve to guide our engagement with our customers, how we conduct ourselves as an organisation and how we deliver quality and continuous improvement in everything that we do.

The tools and techniques of the Unipart Way make it possible for every employee to contribute directly to the improvement of our business. For example, our ‘OCC’ – ‘Our Contribution Counts’ – problem solving circles are a powerful problem solving and continuous improvement technique.
